2007 NFPA Fit Test Ruling
NFPA 1500 Standard on Fire Department Occupational Safety and Health Program 2007 Edition
With an updated 2007 standard, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) requires that tight-fitting facepieces now be tested with a Quantitative Fit Test (QNFT) instead of the previously-approved Qualitative Fit Test (QLFT).
OHD has partnered with many fire departments across the U.S. as firefighters recognize the speed, accuracy, and reliability of the OHD Quantifit as it conducts quantitative fit tests. Now that the use of a QNFT instrument is mandatory, we hope to increase awareness as well as provide the most accurate test on the market.
