Test administration is effortless with the use of the sensitive membrane keys. Unique for the TITMUSi400 is the new Natural Line of Sight Testing, a feature designed to test at the best line of sight for progressive or multi-focal lens users.
The TITMUSi400 incorporates a new fluorescent light source that significantly improves slide illumination, closely replicating actual daylight conditions and providing true color testing. Ergonomics
The TITMUSi400 instrument incorporates a unique TITMUSComfortTM height adjustment feature that accommodates adults and children of varying heights. This feature ensures that when a patient is seated or standing, they are in a comfortable position for testing. This is essential for efficient and accurate testing.
Natural Line of Sight Testing
Vision testing is done with the TITMUSi400 instrument at the natural line of sight - looking straight ahead for distance and downward for near vision. This unique feature enables a progressive lens wearer to adjust the line of sight, so that the optimum portion of the Lens is being used to view the test.
Peripheral Vision Testing
The TITMUSi400 instrument can perform peripheral vision testing in the horizontal visual field at 85o, 70o, 55o and nasal 45o for each eye.
Foam Headrest
The TITMUSi400 instrument is designed with a new soft foam headrest to provide proper head positioning and comfortable support. The foam headrest can easily be cleaned using a disinfectant solution.
Head sensor
The TITMUSi400 instrument has a built-in sensor to recognize correct head positioning. The head must be correctly positioned for test slides to be seen. This feature can also be deactivated if a patient continuously moves his or her head.
Membrane Control Panel
With the TITMUSi400, test administration is effortless with the use of the sensitive membrane keys. A light on the control paned indicates when the instrument is ON. The control panel features a full display of light indicators to ensure correct head positioning, to indicate test distance and control advancement of test slides, to occlude each eye and to activate the peripheral vision testing, The control panel also indicates when the light source needs replacement.
Portability
The TITMUSi400 instrument is designed with an integrated foldable handle for ease-of-transport. It also features side storage pockets to hold accessories and record forms. The membrane control panel conveniently mounts on the back of the instrument for transport.
New Light Source
The TITMUSi400 instrument meets the ANSI and ISO standards for illumination using a true white light source to give years of extended service. Light module has a warranty of three (3) years.
Night Vision Testing
The TITMUSi400 has a feature to screen vision at night driving conditions.
Available Tests
A variety of tests are available for the TITMUSi400 instrument to screen far visual acuity, muscle balance (horizontal and medical phoria), depth perception, color perception, and binocular vision.
Intermediate or Plus Lenses (optional)
Five additional Lenses are available for the TITMUSi400 to identify vision problems at intermediate distances of 19, 22, 26, 32 and 40 inches (50, 57, 67, 80 and 100 cm). These lenses provide comprehensive vision screening at the actual working distance from the eye. Plus Lenses with values of +1.00, +1.50, +1.75 and +2.25 are also available for testing children's vision.
Carrying Case (optional)
An optional soft-sided carrying case with wheels and collapsible handle is available for the TITMUSi400.
Warranty
The TITMUSi400 has a warranty for a period of three (3) years against defects in materials and workmanship from date of purchase. Warranty includes the light module.

Software for your PC is provided on a CD to import test results from the touch-screen panel, print test reults from your PC and upgrade the TITMUSi500 touch-screen panel software.
