The Quantifit and Fit Tester 3000 are calibrated to an NIST traceable standard. It is the only quantitative fit test instrument that is calibrated to an NIST traceable standard. Calibrating the Quantifit and Fit Tester 3000 on an annual basis can help establish your good faith concerns for employee health and safety. Whereas the use of an out of calibration unit may be used against an employer in a litigation process.

The heart of the Quantifit and Fit Tester 3000 is a piston type pressure engine. As such it requires service. Included in the calibration procedure the pressure engine is completely disassembled, cleaned, and lubricated. Much like routinely changing the oil in an automobile, this should prolong the life of the unit.
Upgrades.
During the calibration process each unit is upgraded with the latest firmware versions and modifications as needed.

Calibration & Service Options
Standard NIST Calibration:
Your Quantifit or FitTester 3000 is extensively checked throughout. Each component is specifically examined, removed, disassembled, cleaned and lubricated as needed and checked for proper operation. Any necessary upgrades and changes including replacements for normal wear & tear are performed. The instrument is then reassembled and tested again to assure that each unit is completely functioning within proper tolerances based on a NIST traceable standard. Please include all of your cables and hoses that are used with your unit as we will need to validate their proper operation as well. We even include a 90 day warranty on this service. A flat rate fee is charged so that you don’t have surprises when the bill arrives. If we do find damaged beyond the normal expected range, we will contact you for approval to repair or replace before the work is done.
Before and After Data:
For an increasing number of our clients who are involved in the ISO excellence programs and others who want additional informational data services, OHD is proud to offer the “Before and After’ Service. Known by many names, this service provides a technical data report for each FitTester 3000 by capturing the precision information about each unit when received BEFORE any work begins and the same information AFTER completion of all work when the FitTester is ready to be returned to you. A separate flat rate fee is charged for this service for our customers needing or requiring this additional information service. Adapter Check & Repair Service:
Maintaining the integrity of the adapters used to check respirator fit is critical. Great care is expended to create adapters that seat and seal properly. Properly cared for the adapters should give you many years of service. It is normally not necessary to check the integrity of adapters annually. OHD offers a service for those adapters that that may have become suspect, damaged or in need of occasional validation. If we find that an adapter leaks we will attempt to repair it. If we find that any of the adapter(s) sent for this service cannot pass our standards even after repair we will deduct the cost of this service for that adapter(s) from the cost of a replacement.
All adapters received are submitted for this service and appropriate charges applied!

NOTE: DO NOT INCLUDE ADAPTERS WITH YOUR INSTRUMENT BEING RETURNED FOR CALIBRATION UNLESS YOU ARE REQUESTING THIS SERVICE.
Expedited Service:
You may have your order processed more quickly by specifying that you want the expedited service. In most cases this would allow for a same-day turn-around. Your instrument would be calibrated on the same day received, and then returned with next-day shipping.
